Rotterdam is a great spot for your day trip, as there is so much for you to do and see you're bound to have a great time when you visit. The city is packed full of interesting and quirky postmodern architecture, giving it a feel quite unlike any other Dutch city you may visit.
You'll have to make sure to check out some of the many excellent museums this city has to offer, such as the Natuurhistorisch Musuem where you can discover the animal kingdom, or perhaps you'll want to delve into some art history at the Boijmans van Beuningen.
